Job Description
Planned Systems International is seeking a Business Communication Analyst - MID to provide business management office support to assist the OCIO Resource Management Office with initiation and tracking purchases, providing cost analysis, responding to data calls, supporting business justifications and assist in the planning, design, and implementation of communications products. Duties will include ordering devices and accessories within the service provider's portals, porting lines from gov't to personal or gov't to gov't, suspending and deactivating lines, generating monthly and/or ad-hoc reports, communicating with customers regarding the status of wireless orders and other concerns, participate in department-wide mobile refresh efforts, working closely with the Deployment Team for deployment of devices, maintain communication with the Service Providers, using ServiceNow to track and resolve mobile device orders and/or concerns, track and maintain mobile device inventory stock, ensure mobile device catalog is up-to-date, and maintain continuous communication with the Government POC for issues and guidance Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and willing to work at the Department of Transportation Headquarters in Washington DC. Responsibilities
- Organizes data and information for reporting and analysis.
- Manages and track the details of acquisitions in support of the Acquisition Lead such as action items, schedule, risk, meeting minutes.
- Tracks action items and ensures that actions are followed up and completed.
- Coordinates scheduling and coordination of meetings as needed.
- Assists in the planning, design, and implementation of communications products.
- Serves as a consulting team member with an IT background.
- Drafts reports of findings along with related documentation.
- Assists with activities associated with ordering and tracking mobile device orders through mobile carriers.
- Provides administrative support in mobile device portals.
- Tracks purchase card requests and ensure that all items are received.

- Generates monthly and/or ad-hoc reports.
- Communicates with customers regarding the status of wireless orders and other concerns, participate in department-wide mobile refresh efforts.
- Works closely with the Deployment Team for deployment of devices, maintain communication with the Service Providers.
- Uses ServiceNow to track and resolve mobile device orders and/or concerns, track and maintain mobile device inventory stock, ensure mobile device catalog is up-to-date, and maintain continuous communication with the Program Analyst/COR for issues and guidance.
- Provides guidance and training to individuals.
- Participates as needed in all phases of solution development with emphasis on the planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation phases.
Qualifications
- Must possess a bachelor's degree.
- Degree may be substituted with 4 additional years of related experience.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in an Enterprise IT Environment, developing communications related to analysis, business improvements, and IT services.
- Knowledge of contracts, federal procurement, and or general acquisitions.
- Demonstrated ability for oral and written communication with multiple levels of management.
- Strong verbal (able to lead/facilitate user group sessions) and written skills.
- Collaboration with multi-functional teams/stakeholder; working in teams.
- Able to run effective meetings.
- Ability to recognize and respond to problems, issues, and risks.
- Mobile Carrier (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, etc) experiecne
Physical Demands

- Beginning Microsoft SharePoint administration.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel.
