About the Role

We are looking for a Carrier Engagement Manager to join us on our journey to facilitate a digital revolution in the B2B supply chain. The Carrier Engagement Manager is responsible for providing a positive carrier experience by providing quality support and solutions to freight shipment issues. The primary responsibility is to ensure that customer shipments are delivered on time and develop relationships with customers and carriers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of carriers to drive product engagement
- Increase service to new and existing customers by providing the required carrier to take on committed capacity by ensuring freight delivery with excellent customer service
- Ability to analyze data to determine the most profitable freight deliver solution that provides the most value to the customer
- Monitor and respond to the 5F app and DAT Reviews in a timely manner and escalate any issues as needed
- Increase 5F app bookings, tender acceptance on committed capacity lanes, positive margin, and platform engagement
- Provide logistic solutions for carriers and coordinated shipments
- Work cross functionally with other teams to ensure shipments run efficiently
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in full-cycle Freight Brokerage & 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) & Digital Freight Matching
- Intermodal experience preferred
- Drayage experience preferred
- CPG experience preferred
- Self-motivated, sales, and customer service orientated
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Well organized with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
- Familiarity with DOT regulations (Hours of Service, cargo claims, etc.) helpful
- Ability and availability to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the needs of our external clients
Compensation: $50-70k base
