Required Skills:

• Centralized cloud cost management a multi-cloud environment (AWS : must-have, Azure must-have)
• Become the bridge between a Central FinOps and other teams (DevOps, CloudOps)
• Experience with large customers with complex landscape : technical (rehosted, replatform and cloud-native), applications (from packages to custom-made)
• Execute a cost optimization track
• Working within the DevOps team to identify Cost Optimisation Opportunities and inform the business and technical owners. Including but not limited to Rightsizing, Reservations, Savings Plans, Wastage Removal, technology upgrades

Technical
• Demonstrated public cloud knowledge and experience (AWS: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Associate certification or higher or equivalent with proven experience) Azure (nice-to-have)
Experience in Optimizing Cloud Resources
Main focus : RDS (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server) + consolidation and tuning + licensing basics
EC2 (Redhat, Amazon, Windows) + experience in dedicated hosts + experience in basic system administrations and basics (cpu, nw, io) + licensing basics
Cloudwatch - Perform Usage Analysis, Peaks Usage/Patterns/Analysis + recommendations

Provide customised reporting and dashboards to internal stakeholders to provide a view on actual costs and the drivers of the spend and peaks in usage (AWS CUR data and pull out insights using tools : AWS Quicksight/Athena is a plus.

PowerBI and xls knowledge is a big plus
Contribute to 2023 FinOps Roadmap
Report on tagging compliance across all Cloud resources to internal stakeholders.
