Responsibilities If you are committed to humankindness, social justice, health equity, and prepared to deliver care in new, innovative ways, you belong with us. • Except to deliver care to 4-6 patients per shift for patients • Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation • Collaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals such as social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy and imaging • Unit also cares for med surg telemetry patients.This is Nursing Surgical Floor (not OR): • Specializes in abdominal surgery including Bariatrics • How many beds 30 • RN to Patient ratio 1:5 Qualifications Qualifications: • Degree in Nursing from an accredited program college, or university • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) within 2 years from date of hire. • At least one (1) year of RN experience • Active Registered Nurse license in good standing with the Texas Board of Nursing • Basic Life Support (BLS)Overview Up to $10,000 Relocation assistance Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Centeris an 881-bed quaternary care academic medical center that is a joint venture between Baylor College of Medicine and CHI St. Luke’s Health.
