Aleph is redefining the world of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). We operate in an established software category with a multi-billion TAM but no clear winner. We’re here to change that and our early results are self-explanatory.

Aleph was founded by Albert Gozzi and Santiago Perez De Rosso two technical founders with backgrounds from Stanford and MIT and experience working at top-tier companies such as Google Microsoft and Bain & Company. We’re backed by top VCs (Bain Capital Ventures Khosla Ventures YC Picus Capital) and work with customers like Turo Notion Zapier and others.

What we’ve built so far is the most seamless way to centralize all of a company's financial data – think expenses from Quickbooks or Netsuite pipeline forecasts from Salesforce – and bring it into the tools finance teams are already using. But the vision goes way beyond that. We’re building the source of truth for a business’ data and ultimately the platform businesses use to make better decisions.

We’re way ahead of schedule due to our unique approach with barely any churn and rapid growth despite no marketing spend to date.

We are hiring remotely across the Americas (Canada LATAM United States).

🔍 What we're looking for

As we continue to expand and enhance our product offerings we are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Web & Add-ins team. You will play a pivotal role in driving the development delivery and optimization of our web app and add-ins. This role combines technical leadership strategic planning and team management to ensure the successful execution of projects the continuous improvement of our products and the growth and development of our engineering team.

We are seeking Engineering Managers excited about being close to the code and hands-on with technical delivery. You can expect a 50/50 Management/Code environment.

Currently all 8 engineers report to the CTO; you will manage a mix of existing engineers and engineers who haven’t yet joined Aleph.

👷 What you'll be doing

• Lead mentor and coach a team of talented engineers fostering a culture of collaboration innovation and continuous improvement.

• Drive the execution of projects from conception to delivery ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer expectations.

• Provide technical guidance expertise and oversight to the team ensuring the adoption of best practices coding standards and quality assurance processes.

• Lead by example through hands-on contribution to code reviews architecture discussions and problem-solving.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization providing transparency updates and insights on project status risks and opportunities.

📝 What you have

• Proven track record of 5+ years of experience in software engineering 2+ years in a management role

• Experience building and shipping high-quality user-facing products in a fast-paced environment preferably in the domain of no-code or data tools

• Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire motivate and develop a diverse team of engineers

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

• High tolerance for ambiguity and change with the ability to jump into whatever areas need attention and learn as you go

• Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals to help mentor engineers to solve complex technical problems and drive innovation

💰 Compensation

Aleph is a remote-first company working all across North and South America. For candidates residing within the United States the anticipated salary range for this position is $180000 - $240000 in addition to competitive equity packages. Actual compensation is determined by many factors including candidate experience and location.

While this is a remote-first opportunity we're focusing on candidates within the Americas to better align with our working hours as a team.
