Montage Marketing is looking for a seasoned Field Manager who has field team management, mobile marketing experience, and tour management experience. The ideal candidate for this role is someone with experience in community, health, and diversity or health-related clients. The Field Manger plays a critical role in serving as the bridge between the agency project team and the field team. The Field Manager supports compliance, quality, and performance of the project.

This is a full-time, exempt position working a hybrid schedule at Montage’s McLean, VA, Rockville, MD offices, and home office. If you are not local to the Metro Washington DC area, we would consider candidates residing in one of the following states: Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, West Virginia, or Virginia. Annual salary for this role is $80,000 - $85,000. Government standard per diem rate for meals and lodging available depending on market for any required travel.

Requirements

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experiential marketing
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience managing teams of three (3) or more direct reports.
  • Experience with health, multi-cultural, education, and/or community projects
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more and perform physical tasks.
  • Experience helping with set up and breakdown of event elements
  • Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time
  • Successfully pass background check, drug screen, and driving history
  • Experience traveling driving from market to market for assigned projects
  • Experience managing field teams of six (6) people or more
  • Excellent communications skills verbal and written
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours including weekends/holidays and under various weather exposure.
  • Comfortable working in non-traditional and diverse settings
  • Excellent communications skills, ability to verbally communicate with ease to various audiences.
  • Experience with Mac computers and Office software
  • Focus on results, quality, and attention to detail.

Field Manager Responsibilities Personnel Oversight

  • Provide oversight and management of field teams inclusive of Tour Managers and Product Specialist
  • Lead and coach field teams
  • Support Recruitment and training of field staff
    • Support tour manager trainings and refresh sessions
    • Collaborate with staffing agency as needed
  • Conduct evaluations of field staff
    • Complete field team feedback forms
    • Support field team review sessions
    • Provide input for hiring process
    • Evaluate part-time staff and monitor tracker
  • Prepare and deliver project updates for field staff
  • Craft field team maintenance week plans (in collaboration with program managers)

Engagement

  • Serve as liaison for field team needs between field team and Montage project team
  • Monitor and identify opportunities for:
    • Experience enhancements
    • New digital tools and assets
    • Experience optimization to drive KPIs
    • Inclusion of new program updates
    • Efficiencies in field work
  • Assess and provide the project team feedback on engagement metric and tracking tools
  • Support preparation, and implementation of project and experience protocols and updates
  • Ensure quality of overall execution of the field team
  • Build relationships with key project stakeholders
  • Serve as representative of the field for special client requests
  • Support high-profile events
  • Serve as Tour Manager as needed during field team PTO

Administration

  • Lead weekly standing team calls:
    • Lead weekly MEA field team calls
    • Represent field team during the operations and necessary project team calls
    • Support in-person monthly NIH meetings
    • Calls with key partners as needed
  • Represent field team in key project meetings
  • Conduct market checks and complete assessments and reports
  • Generate and present a quarterly strategic report outlining areas of success and opportunity
  • Contribute to annual MEA Assessment report
  • Review and approve field timesheets, expenses, PTO, and requests related to tour
  • Utilize project and team management tools
  • Travel 40-50% of the time to event sites and conduct site check assessments
  • Manage travel budget per company and project guidelines
