Financial Analyst - Selling Statement

Purpose:

The Financial Analyst has the core responsibilities of forecasting, budgeting, and reporting on selling statement, display expense, and commissions. We are seeking someone who values business partnership, is hungry to learn how our business model works, and isn't afraid of using data to influence and inspire positive change. We are looking for an Analyst who will provide support to our Sales and Marketing teams. Additionally, the analyst will be responsible for providing monthly journal entries, financial reporting, Key Performance Indicating Metrics and spend analytics to the organization. Responsibilities:

• You will be accountable for budgeting, forecasting, balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries for selling and marketing spend. This includes T&E, selling expenses, marketing expenses, samples & displays, commissions, and retail expense management.
• You will exceed in this role by having strong analytical skills and an ability and willingness to investigate year over year variances.
• You will have the opportunity to lead monthly meetings with Finance leadership, including the report out of monthly expenses and comparison of budget vs actual.
• There are opportunities for you to complete ad hoc analysis and further develop and improve the expense forecasting process.
• This Analyst role will build monthly standard financial reports for Finance & other departments.

Education & Experience:

• You should possess a B.S. degree in Finance or Accounting from a 4-year college or university
• Minimum of 3 years' experience (preferably in a prior corporate accounting or financial analysis role)
• Individual should be able to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization
• Excellent analytical and leadership characteristics
• Ambitious in finding answers and proposing solutions
• Possess the ability to make the complex simple
• Must be able to clearly articulate the "why" behind the information, to finance and non-finance audiences
• Above average aptitude in Excel and flexibility to incorporate change will help you complete your tasks. You should also exhibit a high degree of professional judgment, characterized by sound independent discernment, initiative, and a high standard of ethics.

Hiring Range: $72,300.00 - $113,630.00
