Job Summary: The Go-To-Market (GTM) Planning and Execution Team is responsible for building and executing product GTM strategies, overseeing product launches, development of marketing assets, and lead generation. The GTM team is also be responsible for overarching lead-gen strategies, advancing the Commercial Bank brand strategy through effective messaging and design, and driving earned, paid, social, and owned media. We are searching for an enthusiastic Marketing Consultant with a "can-do" attitude who can research and understand various target audiences, create differentiated product positioning, packaging, and value-based messaging strategies. This role will be both strategic and tactical in scope as it provides a unique opportunity to help build a solid foundation for the organization.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment and, most importantly, have a passion for building marketing plans and delivering creative, straightforward messaging both internally and externally.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Collaborate with product owners to create and manage go-to-market / Payments product marketing plans for defined targets, verticals emphasizing on showcasing value propositions
  • Apt in doing market and competitive research and building competitive positioning grids
  • Expert knowledge in building product messaging matrix based on target audience and positioning
  • Create collateral in support of product launches, including web content, white papers, webinars, pitchbook materials, case studies, client testimonials, videos, and other artifacts as needed
  • Support the development of actionable product marketing plans, timelines, and maintain consistent processes and tools to ensure timely and successful execution of sales collateral
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build account based marketing strategy and execute upon strategy
  • Develop rapport and manage expectations with key internal stakeholders and senior leadership through regular communication and reporting on metrics and success of program
  • Execute solid product management practices; understand client behaviors, position and structure products and deliver expertise

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-3 years marketing and/or communications experience in financial services or similar industries
  • Experience in B2B marketing/communications practices
  • Product marketing experience preferred, especially in fintech or banking industries
  • Excellent written and verbal communications including the ability to simplify and communicate complex ideas
  • Interest in working in a start-up type culture, tolerance for change and ambiguity
  • Strong ability to collaborate and partner across product, marketing, and sales organizations
  • Ability to independently research and quickly understand unfamiliar topics, issues, and technical concepts
  • Awareness of omni-channel and integrated marketing principles, familiarity with marketing campaign execution
  • Meticulous attention to detail, quality, and accuracy
  • Self-starter who thrives and can multitask in fast-paced and often ambiguous environments
  • A teamwork attitude, willing to take on extra tasks and see them through. Acute attention to detail and problem-solving skills are also necessary attributes for the role

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $55,000 to $80,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.

As a result, this role may be Mobile or Home-based, which means you may work primarily either at a home office or in a Key facility to perform your job duties.
