We are remote first forever with a 4ยฝ day workweek that finishes every Friday at 1pm.
The Role
We're looking for an experienced IT Specialist! In this role, you'll be responsible for providing technical support to fully-remote Ceros employees and serve as the first point of contact for help desk support, assist in managing employee lifecycles, assist with various IT projects, and participate in the advancement of our IT Tech Stack and overall ecosystem.ย
Key Responsibilities- Provide IT support to your fellow Cerosians with day to day needs:
- Hardware, software, identity and access management, etc
- Time zone availability: Our business hours are 8:30AM-6PM ET
- Assist with IT asset tracking / lifecycle management duties
- Assist with documentation, training, and rollout of new IT platforms and systems
- Provide on/offboarding support (account management, hardware and software procurement)
- Assist with MDM and IdP platform usage configuration (Jamf, Google Workspace, Okta)
- Assist with IT related projects as needed (new technologies and integrations)
Practical stuff we anticipate you having
- Minimum 2-3 years of IT experience in a support position
- Strong written/verbal communication skills:
- Excellent soft skills, positive attitude, and a high emotional intelligence
- Great technical documentation, writing, and communication skills
- A passion for all things IT, including learning new technologies and bringing new ideas to the table
- A self-starter, proactive, ambitious, and teamplayer work ethic
- Strong attention to detail and followthrough on deliverables and deadlines
- Experience and/or familiarity with automation (APIs, scripting, SaaS integrations, etc)
- Experience and familiarity with the following tools, systems, and platforms:
- MDM solutions (e.g. Jamf, Workspace One)
- Productivity suites (e.g. Google Workspace, Microsoft Office / 365)
- Chat and video conferencing software/hardware (e.g. Slack, Zoom)
- Identity Providers (e.g. Okta, Google Workspace)
- Fundamental knowledge and experience with basic networking:
- WAN, LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, WiFi, VPN
- Standard business/network services and protocols (Email, SSL certificates)
- Fundamental knowledge and experience with end user hardware:
- Apple laptops, desktops, and tablets, and smartphones (90% of devices)
- Windows based laptops and desktops (10% of devices)
- Android tablets and smartphones
- Traditional office/remote office equipment (Monitors, docking stations, peripherals, printers, etc)
- Fundamental knowledge and experience with end user software:
- macOS and Windows operating systems (scripting, advanced diagnostics & troubleshooting)
- Browsers, mail clients, additional productivity suites (Office 365, Adobe Creative Cloud)ย
- Fundamental knowledge and experience with Information Security related standards and topics:
- Identity and access management principles, identity providers, SAML/SSO/SCIM protocols
- SOC2/ISO 27001 or related industry compliance certification duties
- Evidence collection, corrective actions and remediations
- EDR/Anti-Virus applications and threat remediation
- Security Awareness training facilitation and administrationย
