Junior Technology Analyst

Position Summary:

ABSC is seeking a knowledgeable, motivated, and skilled Junior Technology Analyst with active TS/SCI (open to CI Poly) clearance located in Suitland, MD.

ABSC proudly supports National Maritime Intelligence Center (NMIC) ONI N9 IWA's mission to produce integrated threat assessments and inform Navy acquisition and technology protection decisions and fleet operations and planning. This will include providing life-cycle threat assessments (Analysis of Alternatives (AoA), Engineering, Test, Deployment, Sustainment) for Acquisition Category (ACAT) I, II, III and IV programs. ONI threat assessments for ACAT 1D programs are validated by the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). Solicit, capture, satisfy and facilitate the satisfaction of documented requirements for formal threat support to requirements generation, research, development, test, and evaluation, (RDT&E) acquisition programs and related efforts.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

• Conducts all-source analytic production of future and current leading-edge technologies and their military applications worldwide.
• Projects the discovery, development, and deployment of advanced technologies and their potential impact on U.S. forces worldwide.
• Provides risk assessments on the transfer and diversion of defense and dual-use U.S. technologies and assesses national security implications associated with foreign involvement in critical U.S. defense technology and defense sectors.
• Produces intelligence for the U.S. National, Defense and Acquisition Communities.
• Conducts all-source analysis to identify, exploit, and assess potential threats, transfer, and vulnerabilities to defense supply chains.
• Develop or contribute to the comprehensive review of applications filed with the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) or review of Non-Notified (NN) transactions where a threat to U.S. National Security may exist.

Experience Required for this Role:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.

Education Required:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
• An additional 4 years of direct experience, for a total of 7 years of experience in a related field, may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
