Lead Residential Carpenter

Residential Lead Carpenter Full-time About Us: Residential general contracting company specializing in residential remodels, ADUs, Custom Builds, and investor projects. We are looking for a skilled Residential Lead Carpenter to join our team and help bring our clients' visions to life. Responsibilities: • Lead and manage the carpentry work on residential remodeling projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship. • Oversee a team of carpenters and subcontractors, providing guidance and direction as needed. • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to complete carpentry work to the highest standard. • Frame walls, install windows and doors, and build cabinets, trim, and other custom woodwork as required. • Supervise the installation of flooring, drywall, siding, and other materials in alignment with project specifications. • Ensure work is completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with building codes. • Perform regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work. • Communicate effectively with the project manager, clients, and other team members to ensure project goals are met. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site. Qualifications: • Minimum 10 years of experience in carpentry, with at least 3 years in a lead role on residential projects. • Strong knowledge of residential construction, including framing, finish carpentry, and custom woodwork. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents. • Experience managing a team of carpenters or subcontractors. • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects. • Must have own tools and reliable transportation. • Valid driver's license and insurance.
