Honeywell, which is headquarteredin Charlotte; NC, is seeking to hire a Corporate DevelopmentM&A Manager. This role reports to the Senior Director, CorporateDevelopment.
Responsibilities:
- For each transaction, lead and/or supportall aspects of execution while working with partners in the Corporate Valuationand Financial Due Diligence center of excellence and Honeywell's strategicbusiness groups ("SBGs") teams.
- Support deal structuring, bid strategy andnegotiation of transaction documents.
- Lead and/or support large cross-functionalteams through transaction processes of all sizes, including corporatedevelopment, segment commercial, strategy, and finance teams as well asfunctional teams.
- Support Corporate M&A, segment M&Aand Strategy teams to build transaction pipelines through engagement withbankers, private equity and other external parties.
- Track and maintain a robust corporateM&A pipeline while supporting cross enterprise view of M&A priorities.
- Work closely with executive leadership onportfolio evaluation to align with the strategic direction of the company,which may include divestitures.
- Manage the M&A approval processes,including Corporate and segment executive leadership and, as appropriate, theBoard of Directors.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the segmentsand the markets in which they compete.
- Support the training and development ofjunior corporate development resources and functional teams; contribute tocontinuous process improvements.
Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Business,Economics, Accounting, Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience incorporate development, investment banking, private equity

- Working knowledge of US Generally AcceptedAccounting Principles (GAAP), Internal Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Ideal candidates will be self-starters,have strong financial analysis and transaction execution skills, includingrobust valuation expertise, acquisition and equity investment contract reviewexperience, negotiation and due diligence experience, and the ability tocollaborate across multiple groups in a rapidly changing business environment.
- Ability to engage constructively withbusiness leadership to test assumptions and gain full understanding of strategyand business/operational implications of key valuation drivers (strong teamplayer).
- Ability to manage multiple projects andcompeting priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive,results-based team environment with frequent interaction with CEO and CFO, SVPof Global M&A and SBG leadership.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentationskills.
- Excellent analytical, research,organizational, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel andPowerPoint, strong research skills.
