Job Description
DUTIES: Manage the team responsible for maintaining DCP/ComPS middleware Platforms for Comcast Business Services from feature delivery to production support; develop and carry out DevOps strategies; lead the platform team in designing, delivering, and documenting software DevOps strategies; ensure quality DevOps practices, including automation, continuing integration and delivery (CI/CD), and evaluating the platform architecture; develop micro-services, fix pipelines issues, and help team members with outstanding technical issues using Node JS and Express JS scripts, CI/CD pipeline tools, including GoCD and Concourse, Cloud Foundry, Spring Boot, Gradle, and Java; develop automation scripts using JavaScript for functional validations; develop applications using Node JS and Express JS frameworks, Spring Boot, and Gradle; deploy applications on Cloud Foundry platform; design, build, enhance and maintain CI/CD tools, including Github, Artifactory and Sonarqube; maintain and execute organizational policies and procedures for change management, configuration management, release and deployment management, service monitoring, support, and problem management; evaluate new tools, technologies, and processes to improve speed, efficiency, and scalability of websites continuous integration environments; ensure onsite and offshore handoff is seamless; address team issues and concerns; and train new team members on team processes, best practices, provide necessary information for onboarding.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and six (6) years of experience developing applications and micro-services using Java, Node JS, Express JS, Spring Boot, and Gradle; developing automation scripts using JavaScript for functional validations; deploying applications on Cloud Foundry platform; using CI/CD tools, including GoCD and Concourse; and carrying out DevOps strategies.
