Job Summary
The New Business Manager works within the new business department, which is responsible for the processing and facilitating of new business applications and providing partnership to key stakeholders. The new business department provides support to the division in the following areas: processing, case management, and additional business support. More specifically, the position adds value to the organization by strategically aligning the teams in order to meet department goals, assists in resolving internal and external issues that negatively impact our ability to deliver results, supports ongoing development of new business staff, all of which contribute to the organizational key results.

This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN.The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, WI, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.

- Ensure production, quality, and service standards of direct reports are met through coaching and accountability measures
- Ensure service level agreements are met and proactively make adjustments to work distribution as needed
- Actively inspire and promote associate engagement and development
- Communicate updates to processes and procedures to key stakeholders
- Build and maintain internal and external relationships with a focus on gaining an outside-in perspective
- Collaborate to ensure cohesiveness amongst leadership and teams
- Provide support to key stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for efficiency and innovation in process
- Empower teams by continuously defining and expanding green zones
Job Requirements
Required Education and/or Certifications
- High School Diploma/GED
Recommended Education and/or Certifications
- B.A/B.S., College Degree
- College Major: Business or Management
Required Work Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in management or
- 5+ years' experience in industry related field
- Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
Salary Band: 06A
