We are looking for a self-motivated and talented Microsoft 365 Engineer to join our California-based Managed Services Provider. We are seeking a candidate who is certified MCSE or equivalent, with at least 5+ years of experience. You must have excellent English writing, comprehension, and speaking abilities.
Must have experience with supporting and communicating with non-technical executives and C-level end-users. Expert-level knowledge of Windows and Linux Servers (You should be able to teach us how to administer these servers, otherwise DO NOT APPLY).
You have previously worked with MSP tools such as Beyond Identity, Okta, HaloPSA, NinjaRMM, Liongard, Auvik, Jira, Cato, Crowdstrike, Intune, MS Graph API, Hudu, PagerDuty, Rewst, Slack, etc.
You MUST be able to work independently and think on your own, you will be responsible for managing internal and external requests. You will be joining a forward-looking, fast-paced, global, and professional team.
Microsoft 365 Engineer will be responsible for planning, scoping, implementation, administration, maintenance, and level 3/4 issue escalations. This includes but is not limited to advanced troubleshooting of server, desktop, and network issues as well as assisting in hardware/software upgrade rollouts, new infrastructure builds, assisting business continuity services, and some project management. Audit logs should be your best friend and you should be very comfortable using them as a tool for root cause analysis.
Must have experience with:
• SAML/SSO - Okta, Google, AzureAD
• Experience with CIPP (Certified Information Privacy Professional), and/or SimeonCloud
• Windows Autopilot & Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Formerly Intune)
• Solid experience in Networking, VLAN, 802.1x, RADIUS, and Enterprise WIFI.
• Managing SaaS applications (Zoom, Lucidchart, Slack, Adobe, DocuSign)
• Familiar with Cloudflare, DNS, SSL/TLS, CDN, LAMP,
• Scripting (Powershell, Bash, Python, etc)
Technical Skills Required:
- Microsoft Windows Server OS (2012 R2 and above)
- Linux Server Administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, AWS AMI)
- Design/Installation/Configuration/Troubleshooting
- Microsoft Azure Active Directory
- Microsoft 365 Exchange Online Setup, Configuration, and Troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of SQL databases and the different flavors and versions
- Microsoft 365 Enterprise Setup and Troubleshooting
- Virtual Desktop and RDS Setup, Administration, and Troubleshooting
- Microsoft Windows OS (10/11) Installation/Configuration/Troubleshooting
- Enterprise NAS/DAS/SAN Installation/Configuration/Troubleshooting
- Data backup and recovery solutions (Datto, Code42, AWS Glacier, etc…)
- Enterprise Wireless Setup, Administration, and Troubleshooting
- Layer 2/3 Switching
- Experience with Hyper-V, VMWare vSphere, or other enterprise virtualization administration
- Experience supporting UTM firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco, Meraki, etc…)
- Excellent customer service and people skills required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Here are the things we would like you to have (not a must):
· 5+ Years Experience working for an MSP or MSSP
· 5+ Years of systems administration experience
· Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and/or formal technology schooling
· MCSE/MCSA/MCITP or similar
· AWS Solutions Architect or similar
· Google Workspace and Google Cloud experience
· Apple device management and troubleshooting experience
· Apple MDM (Jamf, Addigy) experience is a big plus
· No Code experience (Zapier, MS Power Automate, Workato, etc)
