PLM Solutions Engineer

PLM Solutions Engineer 

In this role, you will work closely with engineering application team members, which includes Design, Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, and Process Engineering. In this role you will support engineering software and develop software solutions. The position requires a concentration in Teamcenter, NX and other engineering applications. It involves software support, application support, development and developing training guides. 

Responsibilities 

Development and delivery of Teamcenter /NX software training as well as coordination of training activities 

Ongoing support of NX software testing including changes and upgrades. 

Design / Document design and release workflows and best practices. 

Develop and support TC ITK utilities for needed tasks and projects. 

Manage custom software and enhancements with version control. 

Minimum Qualifications 

Bachelor of Science degree in engineering discipline.

4 years of experience with use of or development background in Teamcenter and NX. 

Programming skills ( Highly Proficient )Python, C++, NXOpen, Java, C#, VB 

Preferred Skills and Experience 

Understanding of Active Workspace technology 

Experience with NX administration / Configuration experience. 

Experienced in Teamcenter customization, workflow development, product configurator experience, MBOM, EasyPlan.

Knowledge of 4-tier/2-Tier, multi-site Teamcenter environment 

Knowledge of Engineering BOM, MBOM, and Service-BOM. 

Knowledge of mechanical design principles 

Knowledge of software development lifecycle. 

Strong verbal and written communication skills
