Product Designer

SimplyInsured is on a mission to eliminate the fear from purchasing and navigating health insurance in the United States. We specifically work with small business owners who have the enormous task of purchasing the right type of insurance for their employees and families. You will be instrumental in the design process from start to finish, and help improve our existing designs. You will be an integral part of our team in problem solving pain points, taking feedback from internal and external sources, and provide meaningful mock-ups for prototypes and wireframes

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement new functional designs 
• Optimize existing user interface designs
• Create a consistent, intuitive user experience across multiple platforms and brands
• Implement a user-centered approach in developing interfaces, layouts, use cases and wireframes
• Conduct user research, organize and analyze found data
• Consult with the Product Manager and development team to review design interaction and provide reviews and collaborative feedback

• Skilled in interaction and visual design and able to autonomously and continually improve the quality of our products
• Proficient user of design programs
• Strong communication skills with an ability to articulate design decisions
• Strong visual sense and interest in trends in visual design and usability
• Ability to take a conceptual idea to prototype to show proof of concept
• Strong creative, analytical, and process-oriented skills, as well as verbal and written skills
