Essential Job Functions

  • Good analytical, problem solving, strategy development.
  • Good communication skills to communicate with application Business users, developers, customers, support personnel and management.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to provide Production support, monitor and resolve Service now tickets on priority basis.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues and find effective solutions.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Microsoft Access 2010: The candidate should have a strong understanding of Microsoft Access 2010, including creating and managing databases, tables, queries, forms, and reports.
  • Visual Basic for Applications (VBA): As Access 2010 uses VBA for programming, the candidate should be proficient in VBA, including writing and debugging code.
  • SQL developer experience. Object Linking and Embedding (OLE) Data Source: Knowledge of OLE data sources is crucial as it allows Access to share data with other applications.

Optional Technical Skills:

  • Business Application Programming Interface (BAPI): The candidate should understand how to use BAPI to connect to SAP and perform operations on SAP data.
  • Knowledge and experience of Oracle db.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Six or more years of programming analyst experience: Windows, Access 2019, VBA, SQL.
  • Experience working with software design, software development life cycle, and development methodologies and implementation.

  • Office environment- Remote, Teams

The range listed is just one component of DXC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a vacation policy and region-specific benefits.

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
