Job Description
Summary:
The Cybersecurity Project Analyst shall provide project management support with the SiloSmashers Contract Manager and Cybersecurity Project Manager for CISA OCIO. The project provides the overarching support and guidance to all subordinate projects, task areas, and activities that together make up the support for the OCIO. Under the supervision of the Contract Manager and Cybersecurity Project Manager, this person will be responsible for project scheduling, project planning, critical path and dependency analysis, resource allocation, baseline management, status monitoring, and related project management activities.
Job Duties:
- Participates in conference calls/meetings regarding the contract status, activity status, costs, etc. with OCIO task leads, the COR, the Contract Manager and Cybersecurity Project Manager
- Monitors activities to stay on task and deliverables are submitted on time and meet quality standards. Maintains integrated master schedule. Updates risk lists and identifies potential issues early
- Provides monthly metric reports to the Contract Manager and Cybersecurity Project Manager, as requested. Prepares reports and presentations for review
- Participates in weekly meetings (in person, teleconference, webinar) with technical staff and project team members as it relates to planned and/or ongoing operations and maintenance for OCIO activities
- Support Contract Manager with budget tracking, financial forecasting, project evaluation and monitoring, maintaining compliance with corporate policies
- Interacts with technical team members from multiple organizations in a team environment
- Performs work with professionalism both with internal team members and the client
- Delivers quality products and services on time
Qualifications:
- Currently holds or able to obtain DHS suitability.
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience:
- Organizing and monitoring the efforts of security staff, involving multiple, complex, and inter-related engineering and implementation project tasks.
- Monitoring teams of information security personnel at multiple locations.
- Meeting with customer and contractor personnel to review task plans and deliverable items.
- Ensuring conformance with program task schedules and costs.
- Maintaining technical and financial reports to show progress of projects.
- B.S. degree in a related field or high school and 7 years of relevant project support related experience
- Demonstrated expertise in SELC, Information Security processes, and IT security development projects
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, customer focus, and good technical writing skills
- PMP certification preferred
