Project Engineer (f/m/d)

The opportunity

As a Project Engineer, you will design authority for an engineering discipline with medium to high complexity. Complete assignments on projects cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements. You will be part of HVDC unit based in Mannheim.

How you'll make an impact

• You design authority for an engineering discipline with medium to high complexity
• You complete assignments on projects, cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements
• You specify HV main circuit equipment and performing equipment related studies
• You review HV main circuit equipment suppliers offers and documentations
• You witness tests of HV equipment and participate in commissioning at site
• You interact directly with customers and suppliers as well as work in project teams where technical coordination within scope and technical problem solving is part of this role

• You hold a university degree in the field of Electric Power Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• You have previous work experience in related area
• You have worked with High Voltage Equipment or have experience with performing studies for rating of high voltage equipment
• Fluent in spoken and written German and English
• You are ready to work in an international and multicultural work environment
• You can make the complex simple and show creativity in your approach to problem solving
