Base Salary Range
$110,000 - $120,000
Business area and team
This is a newly formed team built to focus on pipeline creation and new business opportunities from greenfield accounts. Primarily an inside sales motion the team will partner closely with pre-sales and marketing to find and close deals in this exciting revenue opportunity.
The Role
The Manager, Sales Development will recruit, develop and lead the team of 3 (initial forecast headcount). As this is a new team a lot of focus and effort will be on designing new processes, GTM rhythms and cross organisational relationships. They will be responsible for a pipeline generation and revenue quota.
Key Accountabilities & responsibilities
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, onboard and train a high performing team of sales development representatives.
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship and performance feedback to maximize team productivity and effectiveness.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Lead Generation & Qualification:
- Develop and execute strategies to generate qualified leads through outbound prospective activities, including outbound calling, email outreach and social selling.
- Attend and support events and client facing opportunities.
- Collaborate with Marketing to optimize lead generation campaigned and ensure alignment between sales and marketing efforts.
- Implement led qualification criteria and processes to prioritize and route leads effectively where appropriate to other sales teams.
Sales Pipeline Management:
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics , including lead conversation rates , pipeline velocity and revenue forecasts.
- Utilize our CRM system (Salesforce) to track leads, opportunities and sales activities, ensuring accurate and up to date data.
- Work closely with sales leadership to develop and execute strategies to accelerate pipeline growth and achieve sales targets.
Cross functional collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with sales, marketing and product teams to align sales development efforts with overall business objectives and go to market strategies.
- Provide insights and feedback from the field to inform product development, marketing messaging and sales enablement initiatives.

- Experience in identifying, managing, and developing new business sales.
- Strong leadership competencies; seeks to mentor and coach others, effect at achieving alignment across teams, role models positive behavior and values.
- A track record including significant sales of technology-based solutions, to clients in the Capital Markets sector.
- Solutions-driven with a proven record of achieving/exceeding annual quota targets.
- High level of gravitas, with experience in engaging with senior-level stakeholders.
- Highly competent in delivering product presentations, managing client workshops, and creating use cases.
- Excellent client-facing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to think analytically and creatively to develop solutions that meet the needs.
Required Education and Experience
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales with at least 5 years of experience in sales development or inside sales.
- Experience in leading and managing a team.
- Strong understanding of sales methodologies, lead generation techniques and CRM systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Self motivated and results orientated with a passion for exceeding targets and driving business growth.
