Job Description
The Capital Area Division (CAD) of Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is seeking a Senior Integration Engineer to fill an immediate position focusing on support to the Office of the Secretary of Defense. The candidate demonstrates mature judgement required to interface with external stakeholders and senior Government personnel and supports quick reaction special projects, emerging capabilities technology development, rapid prototyping, and project integration.
This immediate-fill position requires a candidate with experience leading and performing a variety of tasks to support senior leaders in the Department of Defense including:
- Coordinate requirements for the application of current and emerging technologies
- Conduct systems trade-off and technical analysis for projects
- Perform oversight of prospective prototypes and demonstrations
- Develop Memoranda of Agreement and Inter-Agency Agreements
- Maintain historical records of decisions, events, and meetings and track action items
- Prepare budget and programmatic justifications
Required Qualifications:
- MS/MA Degree in a relevant discipline
- Minimum of 9 years of related experience
- Must be a US citizen
- Top Secret clearance
- Experience supporting DoD, focusing on Joint Warfighting Concepts, Modernization Priorities, or Prototyping and Demonstration efforts.
- Experience managing and coordinating projects across the DoD Science & Technology enterprise
- Ability to perform technical analysis
Desired Qualifications:
- 10+ years of related experience
- Knowledge of Defense RDT&E
- Military or related operational experience
- OUSD(R&E) experience
