About this role

Scribe — a productivity automation company based in San Francisco — is hiring a ML Engineer role with a focus on building LLM agents. You will work with our CTO and machine learning team to fine-tune and train novel ML models with our extensive proprietary dataset. The ideal candidate should be excited to rapidly develop, test, and deploy groundbreaking ML-powered software to our users.

You could be a great fit if

• You have a relevant doctorate from a top ML program
• You have experience working with LLMs
• You have experience with Instruction-tuning and Parameter Efficient Fine-Tuning methods
• You're comfortable getting into the nitty gritty: using Python, Jupyter, and cloud compute to clean data and train and validate ML models
• You want to work in a fast-paced startup environment with a lot of autonomy

Bonus

• Experience with LLM agents, including frameworks such as ReAct, Self Refinement, etc.
• Experience with reinforcement learning
• Startup experience (not required, but we build and move fast!)

Compensation

$170k-$220k USD salary + equity
We consider several factors when determining compensation, including location, experience, and other job-related factors.
