The Senior Programmer works closely with project managers, business representatives, Technical Architects and other developers to understand business requirements and produce high-quality products using the Microsoft SharePoint Online, Power Platform and related Technologies. As part of the Application Development team working in the Business Process Automation practice, the senior programmer functions as a technical resource in solving complex technical problems that come up as a result of customer requirements related to business process automation. Builds, tests, debugs new software or incorporates significant enhancements to existing applications. Effectively interacts with and takes direction from QA to quickly diagnose and resolve system problems and resolves bugs as efficiently as possible . Provides project managers with accurate estimates of effort to accomplish assigned tasks, and inform team members with progress and any issues impeding progress.

The individual is able to take technical direction from Technical Architects and Senior Technical Architects and conduct software development activities based on development best practices and standards. The individual utilizes system documentation effectively, including programming specifications of intermediate complexity. Performs program coding in various languages including C# and has knowledge of cloud and associated web technologies.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Development/Programming of medium-to-high complexity applications based on customer requirements, utilizing the Microsoft SharePoint Online, Power Platform, low-code, no-code platforms and related technologies and meeting programming standards by following productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. Experience in migrating M365 application

• Works with and takes direction from Technical Architects and Senior Technical Architects to work on software architecture for customer solutions.

• Spends majority of their time working with internal resources in a team environment to meet customer deliverables and plans programming projects by confirming program objective and specifications.

• Verifies program operation by confirming tests.

• Utilizes and implements programming and database best practices.

• Convert designs and functional specifications into computer code quickly and efficiently.

• Create, analyze and review the code to find causes of errors and revise programs accordingly.

• Assure that software code being developed is complete and properly documented.

• Test transactions and run tests to find errors and confirm programs meet customer functional and technical specifications.

• Enter accurately in CRM all of the time associated with customer work performed.

• Build business applications in an Agile/waterfall environment

• Developed oral and written communication skills to present technical information to others with clarity and precision.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

• BA or BS in Computer Science or Equivalent

• Good understanding of the Microsoft Technology Stack, including, but not limited to: M365, OneDrive, Azure, .NET applications using C#, Web APIs, ASP.NET

• Must have experience with SharePoint (on-prem and online) configuration and setup, , Power Platform, Power Automate, RPA (Robotic Process Automation), Power Apps, SharePoint content migration (onprem to cloud), Sharegate, SharePoint Site customizations and administration.

• Nice to have - experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and SharePoint Add-ins.

• Nice to have - experience with Data Analytics tools, such as PowerBI, Tableau, etc.

• Nice to have - advanced SQL Server skills (Store procedures, schemas, UML, indexing, performance tuning)

• Nice to have - workflow automation tools experience, such as UIpath, Nintex, etc.

• Nice to have - advanced experience with complex web technologies.

• Nice to have - experience developing applications for cloud and hosting in a cloud-based environment such as Azure and/or AWS

• Nice to have - knowledge of azure cognitive services and automation tools.

• Must be able to assist, prepare and present technical documents like technical briefing, technical design documents and technical specification documents.
