Job Description

Adobe's Experience Platform is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for engineers to build core services that will be used by all Digital Experience solutions for achieving their business goals. As part of building these core services, engineers will tackle big data challenges, craft innovative algorithmic solutions and build highly scalable services.

The Product

Adobe Journey Optimizer is an industry-first B2B solution being built inside Adobe Experience Cloud, based on the latest and greatest in the technology stack that allows businesses to create a personalized experience for their customers at scale and engage with them based on their activity.

The Role

We are looking for a Computer Scientist to drive the development and transformation of our product. As a key contributor, you will be responsible to own the delivery of new features and enhancements to the existing features in the core & mission-critical services which run at scale and delivers millions of personalized experiences every minute. You will play a critical role in the success of our team of high-performance engineers and own the activity of development & quality to build appropriate technological solutions to meet the expectations of our customers. You will collaborate with Architects and Product Owners across US & India, to build scalable, resilient, high throughput & low latency services.

Key Skills

  • Keen interest & proven experience in Distributed Systems, Cloud Technologies & high throughput, low latency APIs


  • Well versed with SOA principle, cloud-based web services architecture, API design, design patterns, and frameworks


  • Experience in following web technologies: Java, Spring, Services, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Junit/TestNG, Splunk, Prometheus, New Relic


  • Good exposure to IntelliJ, Maven, Artifactory & CI/CD pipelines


  • Experience with supporting a product in production, including system performance and monitoring


  • Able to develop and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customers


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


  • Excellent work standards and highly motivated


  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (interpersonal and client-facing)


  • Demonstrated track record for solution delivery, Quality improvements, Champion for agile scrum adoption.


  • 8+ years of experience in developing & running sophisticated, large scale distributed systems in the cloud


  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
