Sr Specialist - Software Development & Engineering

Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Develop and deliver scalable and reliable software products. Coordinate day-to-day activities and influence team members to leverage, follow, and support Agile software development practices. Interface with product owner and key stakeholders in project management, business, QA, and technology operations to ensure high quality delivery of software projects on time and budget. Collaborate with product owner and team members to decompose stories, design features, and prioritize tasks. Assemble releases and drive improvements in the release process. Collaborate with peers and partners on scrum team to deliver software release sprints on time with a focus on quality. Provide hands-on development as necessary for other members of the development team. Execute complex programming tasks, review development tasks and documentation. Provide analysis of problems and recommend solutions. Lead the troubleshooting of complex problems in development and production environments, ensure timely resolution of issues. Oversee code reviews, uphold software quality standards, and raise the technical bar.

What you have

Job Requirements: Master in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 24 months of experience in a related occupation. Experience must include 24 months involving the following: Java 8 or higher; Spring Boot and Hibernate; Develop and manage REST and SOAP-based web-service APIs in a transaction processing environment that include security, custom analytics, throttling, caching, logging; Write unit tests using Junit, Mockito, and Power Mockito; CI/CD; Python and R programming language to understand the developed models; and Database development in relational databases using SQL Server, Postgres, Writing SQL, and PLSQL.
