Sr. Software Developer - System Automation

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing modern Z Systems Management solutions
• Designing developing and thoroughly testing new code fixes/enhancements
• Developing build tooling functional test and security test automation for better quality and security
• Collaborating in a team-driven environment with a group of experienced
• software engineers who want to deliver leading edge function on the mainframe platform.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• z/OS Expertise: z/OS skills and experience are required with proficiency in mainframe operating systems and environments.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Root cause analysis and debugging skills are necessary for effectively identifying and resolving issues in mainframe applications.
  Programming Proficiency in some of the following languages: Script Languages Java JavaScript Typescript C Node.js or other high level languages showcasing your ability to develop robust software solutions.
• Highly motivated and open to other programming languages which includes even assembler
• Knowledge of Security on the Z platform
• Familiarity with Github Jenkins groovy and Python to manage the source code and build environments

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience using IBM Mainframe apps/tools such as Z System Automation Z NetView JCL TSO/E
• Experience with Full Development Lifecycle using Agile methodology (e.g. SAFe)
• Experience in Ansible Automation
  Knowledge of containerization technology (docker Kubernetes etc.)
