    Job Details
  • Effectively assist physicians in performing a variety of highly specialized Cardiovascular procedures including diagnostic and interventional catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, intra-aortic balloon pump operation (IABP), and electrophysiology studies.
  • Evaluates and documents patient status and responds appropriately; intervenes/refers in a timely manner to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Reflects clinical expertise, competence, and proficiency based on knowledge/skills and exceeds essential job responsibilities per department standards.
  • Participates in performance improvement activities to evaluate care outcomes driven by an underlying curiosity & desire to know more.
  • Maintains high skill level through participation in CQI, in services, ongoing education, and attendance at 80% of staff meetings.
    Job Requirements
  • One year of Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience, preferred.
  • Special procedures experience, preferred.
    Schedule Information
  • Ability to provide on-call coverage outside of standard scheduled hours per department and/or facility policy.
    Additional Details
  • Floating may be required to any CommonSpirit location within sixty (60) miles of the original assignment location or CommonSpirit-identified 'float zone'.
  • Float assignments may include duties outside of original assignment job requirements (including skill set) in accordance with CommonSpirit policy.
