Travel Coordinator

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performing all reservation functions for 100+ weekly inbound travelers traveling via air and ground transportation, plus hotel accommodations
• Assisting with last minute travel and/or emergency travel changes
• Ensuring usage of lowest travel fares for every point of the trip
• Addressing and resolving all issues in the booking process with the transportation carrier and/or the traveler
• Contacting each person to confirm travel arrangements
• Tracking unused tickets
• Reporting travel expenses and providing travel statements
• Generating regular reports on issued tickets and other ad-hoc needs for management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associates degree
• 2+ years of hospitality or banking experience
• Ability to apply common sense understanding and finding cost-effective solutions
• Strong computer skills in a Windows environment, including Outlook, Excel, and Word Ability to handle high volumes of inbound email
• Professional phone presence

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Familiarity with travel booking websites and tools
• Capable of working in a demanding, deadline-driven environment with competing priorities
• Well organized and communicative with a high degree of initiative and independent execution
