This is a remote position and the individual selected can live anywhere in the US

Position Purpose: Assist with the administration and communication of Centene's Leave of Absence program.

  • Support Absence Management Specialists to provide the best support and experience for employees enterprise wide
  • Serve as the internal first contact for all employees, managers, and HR partners regarding leave issues, vendor management, or policy questions
  • Analyze and process data from leave vendor that errors out of automation status and requires extra research
  • Analyze leave data to correctly code and administer employee pay during a leave of absence
  • Maintain and process leave information for employees that are away from work due to Worker's Compensation claims
  • Correspond with Leave of Absence vendor to provide information on leave eligibility and coordinate changes in leave status

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent experience. 0-2 years of human resources, leave management, disability studies, or benefits experience. Knowledge of absence management related concepts and practices such as FMLA and ADAAA. Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Experience in HRIS systems, particularly related to HRMS, disability and payroll systems preferred. Exposure to Workday preferred.

License/Certification:

PHR or SPHR preferred.:
