Application Architect (SAP HANA Development)

Introduction
As an IBM Application Architect you directly help clients transform their business  and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms.  You are a technical leader serving as a liaison among business partners technical resources and project stakeholders.

Your Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking an accomplished Application Architect with a strong focus on SAP HANA Development to join our innovative Information Technology team. In this role you will be responsible for the design development and support of applications solutions with focus on HANA version of Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and/or re-engineer highly complex application components and integrate software packages programs and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms.
• Collaborate closely with the project team to ensure alignment and address development requirements in Functional Specifications.
• Provides effort and time estimates for developments and identify dependencies.
• Complete SAP ABAP developments (Reports Interfaces Conversion Programs Enhancements Workflows & Forms etc).
• Perform technical unit testing for developments and support subsequent project testing activities.
• Develop Technical Specifications for all developments.
• Provide leadership to ABAP Remediation work required in ECC to S4HANA Upgrade.
• Proven work experience with new SAP technologies like BTP CPI Fiorietc…
• Proven work experience in in-app as well as side-by-side SAP Custom Developments.
• Lead a large team of local and Offshore Developers.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP HANA Development.
• Solid knowledge of SAP HANA Technical Concept and Architecture.
• Experience in web-service development and S/4 HANA.
• Strong Exposure to tools such as Extended Program Check Code Inspector Dump analysis (ST22) Runtime Analysis (SE30) SQL Trace (ST05) ST12 SQL analysis Work Process Overview ATC for performance and quality management of ABAP programs.
• Experience in OSS Note Analysis and usage of BADI BAPI user exits.
• Experience in SAP FIORI (Enhancement and development); Core Data Services (CDS) (Enhancement and development with authorization); ABAP on HANA
• Experience in ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP); IDOC Web Service and OData; SAP Workflow (Classic/Flexible); Standard Report (ALV OOP)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced and agile environment.
