Summary

The Project Specialist will partner with another team member to offer essential support to a growing, high-paced Marketing department! They'll work alongside Marketing experts to manage and optimize simultaneous initiatives across channels, ensuring we deliver high-quality Marketing on-time and within budget. The Project Specialist will empower our marketing team, drive alignment between marketing and internal stakeholders and aim for operational excellence.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and drive accountability to timelines, milestones, channel plans and deliverables for all campaigns and initiatives
  • Manage and maintain project schedules and track progress from planning to content development to deployment to analysis
  • Conduct ongoing communication with requestors; act as point of entry/acceptance, prepare work to be accomplished by gathering info and/or materials and estimate time required to complete the work
  • Schedule marketing resources and production/fulfillment for requests in the workflow tool, follow up on action items that support the bigger picture
  • Partner alongside channel experts to support end-to-end execution of multi-channel campaigns that build awareness, generate leads and drive sales
  • Possess real-time knowledge of all work in progress, identify risks and ways to mitigate issues to ensure initiatives launch on-time and on-budget
  • Work with leadership to adjust resources and timelines as business priorities shift
  • Recommend opportunities to streamline processes in high-paced environment with focus on resource efficiency and ROI
  • Manage day-to-day tactical requests from key stakeholders to support a variety of marketing initiatives
  • Tracking and reporting on productivity and progress towards goals
  • Manage important documents, requests, compliance checklists and status reports
  • Coordinate and administer usability testing and experience reviews for marketing collateral, web content, offers and pricing, etc.
  • Quality assurance support with proofing and data auditing
  • Manage special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Proficiency in workflow project management and Microsoft Office software required
  • Strong project management and organization skills and keen attention to detail
  • Capable of coordinating multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Effective interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Must be a self-starter, able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
  • Prior experience in vendor management a plus
  • Financial Services marketing experience a plus
