- Participate in product development and sustaining activities including engineering studies, feasibility studies, cost estimates, implementation of standard and non-standard specifications.
- Support product issues brought to light by manufacturing, including design improvements, problem solving around assembly and/or parts substitutions.
- Support product task related to Quality, Warranty reduction, Product Cost Reduction and safety improvements.
- Interact with outside agencies such as UL, Intertek, ASME, AHRI, ASHRAE, CRN.
- Support Work toward commonality and optimization of product & components to reduce design errors and escapes.
- Support the teams with ideas for productivity improvements and complexity reduction projects.
