Database and Business Intelligence Developer

Established in 2016, the Greek entity Arηs Developments Hellas aims to extend Arηs Group activities dedicated to the European market providing high-quality services in Software Development, covering the entire application development lifecycle: starting with user requirements, business process redesign and specifications, to continue with development, testing and application maintenance.

• Write complex stored procedures and queries in SQL Server;
• Design, implement and deploy solutions based on Data Vault methodology;
• Design, implement and deploy data warehousing solutions based on Kimball and/or Inmon methodologies;
• Implement and deploy SSIS ETL flows;
• Configure SSAS (multidimensional and tabular) to build data cubes;
• Work with reporting tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.

• Bachelor's degree plus 12 years of relevant experience.
• More than 3 years of professional experience in Database Design and Development with Data Vault Modelling
• More than 12 years of experience writing Microsoft T-SQL code
• More than 3 years of experience with Flyway deployment
• A minimum of twelve (12) years of experience with SSAS (multidimensional + tabular) development and deployment
• Excellent knowledge of writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and its main components
• Excellent hands-on knowledge of Data Vault modelling and implementation
• Excellent knowledge of SSIS and SSAS (multidimensional + tabular) development and deployment
• Excellent knowledge of data warehousing and dimensional modelling
• Working knowledge of English C1 or higher.

Desirable:

• Good knowledge of SSIS and SSAS server configuration
• Good knowledge of development and configuration of PowerBI on prem
• Good knowledge of CI / CD systems (e.g. TFS)
• Good knowledge of Agile Team implementing Scrum principles
• A  minimum of 12 years of experience in database dimensional modelling (Kimball + Inmon)
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in configuring reporting tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
• A minimum of 6 years of experience with Microsoft SSIS.
