Summary:

Reporting to the Regional Clinical Manager, you will be digital counselling services for TELUS health Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Workplace Support Programs (WSP) :A group of programs designed to address mental health concerns in the workplace. TELUS Health's Workplace Support Program offers the industry's earliest intervention into employee mental health issues that require a solution beyond short-term EAP support or as part of a disability case management treatment plan. The programs provide professional assessment and counselling to support an individual's return to healthy productivity. These clinical interventions address issues requiring longer-term, more specialized or more intensive levels of care in order to prevent or manage workplace performance problems, absence and disability.

Responsibilities:

• Provide short-term counselling to a diverse set of clients dealing with various issues, within the terms and conditions of the client’s EAP;
• Provide excellent clinical services and embrace TELUS health culture of continuous learning;
• Manage the administrative requirements as dictated by TELUS health clinical models.

Core qualifications and skills we are looking for:

• Master’s Degree in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work
• Registration with Professional College or Association;
• Ability to set short term objectives and use a solution focused approach;
• Ability to clinically manage high-risk cases, including clients who are a threat to self or others;
• Excellent time-management skills with the ability to handle a large volume of clients;

Mid Point Salary 77,000k
