You will be responsible for coordinating all opportunity to remittance and post-sale service tool development efforts between the respective functions involved in the opportunity to remittance process, including: Marketing & Sales, Global Product Management, IT, Supply Chain and Finance across the Electrification Business Units. You will be responsible for defining and documenting functional user stories, including business and business process rules, user experience, output documentation, process improvements, and downstream system integration needs. In addition, you will be managing timelines, resources, and owning story execution. This role may be remote or hybrid.

Your responsibilities

• Uncover, collect, analyze, and prioritize business requirements or stories, skillfully translating them into implementation stories
• Collaborate closely with business users and development team to establish clear developments plan and testable acceptance criteria, ensuring seamless alignment
• Work together with developers and IS project managers to estimate and monitor development effort, encompassing capacity, status, and velocity, across planned developments and releases
• Master the intricacies of our application landscape and grasp business needs, allowing you to proactively address incidents and changes
• Take an active role in creating and presenting innovative solutions to our Business users and Partners
• Become the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in your area of expertise, contributing your technical and business process/data prowess to drive ongoing operations and develop high-quality products
• Embrace a collaborative, cross-discipline team environment, applying Agile development methodologies and actively participating in all team activities
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure desired functionality and quality of product configuration tools
• Provide training and guidance to users of the tools
• Manage timelines, resources, and overall project execution
• Report out and provide project updates to key stakeholders

Your background

• BS in engineering, Computer science, mathematics, or business
• Minimum 4 years experience in quotation, application, project management, or product development
• Minimum 4 years experience working in electrical distribution business
• Process knowledge in the area of inquiry, quotation, order, and post sales service
• Strong knowledge of Agile processes and/or project management and project execution methodologies
• Excellent analytical and computer skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong customer advocate
• Champion of change; willing and eager to promote change
• Influencing skills
• Prior inquiry to order business process and tool development experience
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
