Food & Recipes Content Creator Resident

Gallery Media Group includes women’s lifestyle brand PureWow and a collection of social-first media brands, such as @cocktails, @moms, @recipes and @ballplayers on Instagram and TikTok that reach over 200M consumers. Additionally, GMG has an expansive experiential arm rooted in Gallery Houses—a fusion of social content, creators, and cultural moments at scale—and a robust influencer marketing business. The company was founded in 2010 by CEO, Ryan Harwood, and is now part of VaynerX, the Gary Vaynerchuk-owned holding company.

We are looking for a social media resident to come on board full-time for a three-month, fixed term residency creating social media content for our food brands and clients. The ideal candidate will be a foodie who loves to shoot, film, and edit recipe content, and is looking to kick start a career in social media strategy, social content creation and/or digital publishing. We are looking for somebody who lives and breathes social media and has impressive examples of their own work on TikTok and/or Instagram to show for it. 

Responsibilities:

• Creating entertaining, engaging, and original food content across social platforms, especially TikTok
• Social media management and posting
• Monitoring the success of content and ideating on ways to improve and optimize performance

Skills and experience:

• A strong understanding of short form video and the TikTok platform 
• You are confident in creating food content and developing recipes
• You are reliable, motivated, self-sufficient, and a fast worker
• Creative thinking and tons of ideas and a finger on the pulse of culture
• You have proven experience with digital storytelling (either on your own handles or elsewhere)  
• Relevant internship experience or education is preferred, but not required

Location: Remote (Must reside in the following states: California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan or Texas)

Salary: $17.00 per hour
