Join us as a Marketing Content Analyst

Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting a Marketing Content Analyst to join our Private Banking Marketing Team. In this role you will create and support the creation of written thought leadership, social media content, and marketing collateral across all Private Banking sectors: Multi-Family Office, Corporate Advisory & Banking, Capital Partners, and Endowment & Foundation Management. Working alongside the heads of content marketing and digital/social content, the analyst will help generate content ideas, write and edit compelling thought leadership (in the form of blog posts, articles, videos, social media, and infographics), analyze marketing metrics, and distribute content to a captive audience. Social media content could include link posts, images, and videos on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter. This person should be an excellent communicator (written, verbal) and have the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. The role will be supported by central resources in the areas of graphic design, marketing compliance, and internal and external distribution.

Some of your key responsibilities include:

  • Content Creation & Production
    • Help create compelling content across a variety of channels, aligning with the mission and editorial needs of our clients.
    • Aid in determining format and distribution method for each content piece to ensure it captures mindshare of target market (print, video, social, etc.).
    • Source and edit high-quality, compelling images, charts, graphics, etc., to accompany text-based stories, liaising with creative team/designers on visual branding and layout of output based on content type and distribution channel.
    • Assist with creation of marketing collateral, including presentation slides, tear sheets, and brochures, as necessary.
    • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice.
    • Rigorously employ standards, systems, and best practices (both human and technological) for content creation, compliance, distribution, maintenance, content retrieval, and repurposing.
    • Serve as both content and copy editor for sourced content, and work with SME content creators to refine contributions to maximize interest level and usefulness.
    • Manage the content approval processes, as needed, including compliance review, web publishing, email distribution and internal front office notifications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Financial industry marketing experience preferred
  • A demonstrated track record of exceptional writing, storytelling, and communicating
  • A strong understanding of - and experience with - content distribution, social media, and analytics platforms
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent conceptual and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to analyze complex issues and make sound decisions in a timely manner, managing multiple deliverables
  • Strong initiative; must be able to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Ability to build relationships across organizational groups
  • Knowledge of investment, economic and business concepts, and current events
  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies and best practices

Salary Range

Total Rewards:

BBH's compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated base salary range for this role is $75,000 to $85,000, which is specific to New York, NY and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role. BBH's total rewards package recognizes your contributions with more than just a paycheck-providing you with benefits that enhance your experience at BBH from long-term savings, healthcare, and income protection to professional development opportunities and time off, our programs support your overall well-being.
