PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Troy 7, Inc. is looking for a Mission Risk Support Engineer to join our team. In this role you will support the Director for Risk Management (CER) and MDA's process for addressing technical, flight test, cyber, and variance risks through the MDA Risk Working Group (MRWG).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide technical support to MDA's Director for Risk Management by reviewing analyzing, and assessing technical, cyber and Flight Test risks, technical variances, Flight Test Observations, and other watch items so that they have sufficient technical detail and rigor to support MDA Leadership decisions
  • Ensure risk packages are complete, accurate, and mitigation plans are executable via the MRWG process
  • Provide support to all aspects of the risk process to include potential deployment during flight test execution

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES (if applicable):

The position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • Experience in radar, interceptor, command and control, or weapon systems
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and SharePoint
  • Prior experience addressing risks and mitigation plans
  • Ability to work within a team to analyze issues and to apply engineering rigor to solve problems

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of technical experience in general systems engineering, analysis of complex interactions of multiple systems, system design, and/or delivery of capability
  • Active secret clearance
  • Prior MDA experience, preferably in GM or other element
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to work collaboratively within a team, close attention to technical detail and timelines, and comfort in interacting with and briefing senior MDA leaders
