PPM team is responsible for working with cross functional teams in 1) project management for major data privacy related projects; 2) driving better processes for compliance review for TikTok

As PPM to TikTok product team, the ideal candidate possesses the ability to document and organize process requirements, roadmaps, deliverables, task owners and timelines in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate is deeply passionate about cross-functional project management, high level thinking and on the ground execution. This role requires the ability to work across different time zones and using analytical rigor to identify and prioritize organizational pain points. The successful candidate is intellectually curious, creative, self-resilient and comfortable operating in ambiguity with strategic thinking.

Key responsibilities
1. Manage complex projects with tight timelines and work with internal stakeholders to establish roadmaps and communicate timelines and deliverables to internal stakeholders as needed;
2. Support execution of privacy efforts within TikTok product org;
3. Partner with global counterparts across product, engineers, legal and others to drive alignment and deliverables of major privacy initiatives;
4. Develop a strong understanding of the business and technical requirements and obligations.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification
- 5+ years of project management experience.
- Detail oriented, can coordinate across multiple teams/countries/cultures;
- Ability to identify inefficiencies and create process improvement through standardization and policies.

Preferred Qualification
- Those with prior experience managing global projects are preferred;
- Experience with compliance, privacy, risk management is preferred.
