Broadridge is hiring! We have an opening for Project Manager within the Quality Engineering organization. This is a unique opportunity to join an excellent team and have a meaningful impact on the Quality Engineering strategy, automation process and culture. This role will focus on providing the required support for a successful transition from QA to QE. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a Transformation role, with a special focus on executive-level support and intergroup collaboration.

As a PM within the ICS QE leadership team, you are expected to have strong program management skills, prior experience leading transformation efforts and industry-leading experience driving efforts to improve organizations efficiency and effectiveness. From day one, you will have the opportunity to immediately impact our productivity, the streamlining of strategic initiatives, overseeing program management, and communicating objectives between business towers. You should have a combination of solid in-depth knowledge of Quality Assurance best practices, scrum agile SDLC processes and program management. The ICS QE Project Manager will serve as a transformational leader, influencer providing insights and Jr. Chief of Staff level support to the Head of Quality Engineering and his direct leadership team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support a holistic view of the Quality Engineering organizations priorities, creating clarity and alignment to the organization's key outcomes
  • Oversee strategic internal and business initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of senior leadership and tower heads
  • Support the department VPs with leading cross-org planning and special projects.
  • Assist and communicate with Sr. Leaders in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation
  • Review, design, and execute on improvements to the internal org workflows and document repository structure
  • Create and maintain predictable, published rhythms and cadences to keep senior leadership connected to the progress of key projects
  • Champion engineering and operational excellence, establishing metrics and process for assessment and improvements
  • Be a change agent for the adoption of Quality Engineering practices within a heavily manually tested organization
  • Partner with Leaders to assist with defining and driving the QE Test Automation strategy across the organization
  • Support an org level Governance Board to ensure all QE best practices are being followed
  • Foster a positive culture within the organization, building community by driving associate education initiatives, trainings and team building activities.
  • Implement and drive unique innovative solutions to optimize the current QA processes followed
  • Demonstrated ability to run projects through to completion - on time, on budget and meeting all set requirements
  • Build strong partnerships with non-US based global leaders and supporting resources
  • Improve transparency within and outside of the team
  • Track and report status through consistent, standardized dashboards and metric reporting

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of experience:

    • As a Project Manager
    • Designing, implementing, and running projects
    • Working with test processes, methodologies, tools, and technology
  • 5+ years of experience working with Quality Assurance or Engineering teams
  • Passion for driving best practices in the testing space
  • Knowledge of software engineering practices and agile approaches
  • Experience using test management tools like Quality Center & Jira
  • Strong desire for establishing and improving product quality
  • Stronger leader willing to take challenges head on while being part of a team
  • Strong design sense, with an eye for creating clear visuals that convey complex and technical ideas to a non-technical audience
  • Demonstrated ability to influence Sr. Leadership on complex business topics
  • Systems thinker, able to manage a high degree of complexity and able to distill information into simple communications
  • Excellent judgment, discretion and unflappable under pressure
  • Detail oriented
  • Knowledge of Agile approaches - Kanban, Scrum, XP, etc.
  • Knowledge and experience with Agile techniques - Automated Testing, User Stories, TDD, Continuous Integration, Testing, Pairing, Agile Games, etc.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced and every changing environment
  • PMP Certified
  • Bachelor's Degree
