Project Manager - UX Platforms (Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) or Fully Remote)
Job Description
Our hybrid workplace model offers the freedom to work fully remote or occasionally in one of our offices. This is a remote position with a hybrid option for candidates based in Charlotte, NC.
How you'll contribute:
As an Application Delivery Manager, you'll be responsible for managing application development, supporting advisor, and consumer experience initiatives across Brighthouse's public facing websites. This role leads an agile team and provides technical leadership for Adobe Experience Manager applications and integrations with Future State Technology. The Delivery Manager provides oversight of the future roadmap of technical solutions to achieve strategic business objectives. The ideal candidate has a passion for bringing digital experiences to life.
In this role, you'll get to:
- Assume platform leadership of Adobe Experience Manager and have accountability for UI focused projects
- Lead a global agile team consisting of AEM and Java developers, QA testers, and business analysts
- Collaborate with Sales, Advisor Experience, Web Operations, and Brand Marketing teams to provide connected experiences for consumers and financial professionals in a B2B market.
- Drive the execution of enhancements and maintenance projects through the entire SDLC process, including implementation under an evolving DevOps maturity model
- Review and approve technical designs and Adobe initiated upgrades
- Drive the governance of incoming projects and maintain the team's backlog
- In partnership with the UX team, advocate for the end user by influencing decisions to ensure that product and design decisions meet user needs and expectations
- Act as a liaison between UX strategists and the Future State Technology teams
- Effectively communicate technical solutions and recommendations to both technology and business partners
- Work closely with enterprise data and back-end API teams to solution enriched user experiences for both marketing and business operations
- Foster data driven decision making by integrating Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target
- Develop platform roadmap to support future state needs and provide input into overall marketing technology stack
- Coordinate with Adobe Managed Services to maintain Brighthouse's IT standards
We're looking for people who have:
- 7+ years' experience in designing and implementing responsive web applications using Adobe Experience Manager
- Sound foundation in content management systems and digital asset management
- Proven track record in leading agile development teams, both offshore and onshore
- Working knowledge of API design and integration with relational databases
- Self-driven ability to understand, uncover, resolve, and recommend options to solve complex business issues with technology solutions
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills - including oral and written communication, relationship building, and collaboration
- Flexible team player with proven track record in navigating enterprise-wide business initiatives

- Compensation - Base salary ranging from $125,000 to $135,000 plus competitive performance-based incentives determined by company and individual results
