The Role

• The Engineering & Quality Assurance teams are the nuts & bolts of the Bloomerang organization. Managers within the QA department exist to ensure that the QA Department is able to meet the department’s expectations. Their focus is on providing coaching, mentoring, & motivation for a high producing team. In addition to managing the productivity and quality of work to ensure teams meet established goals and standards, QA Managers are experts at articulating the features and benefits of Bloomerang.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Works cross-functionally to contribute to the "big rocks" of the organization. 
• Builds a safe space for open dialogue and problem solving for all team members
• You suggest ongoing process improvements, recommendations and implementation of systems that will make our team more efficient.
• You coach, mentor, & motivate a high producing team. 
• You manage productivity and quality of work to ensure teams meet established goals and standards. 
• 1:1 with reports (weekly or bi-weekly) to ensure guidance and support
• Weekly Team Meetings to provide an understanding of strategy and expectations to reports
• Communicating any items provided by upper management with MQA team members
• Overall product quality from engineering hand-off to production release & launch
• Managing MQA's execution of planned strategy This includes but is not limited to:
  • Testing Environments & Devices 
  • Testing Planning and Coverage
  • Test Execution & Effort
  • Testing Tools & Team Collaboration
• Implementation of prescribed strategic planning provided by upper management
• Continuous auditing of processes and tooling to increase quality and reduce spending
• Completion of all tasks and priorities provided by upper management
• Communicating with upper management when any of the above items are unable to be performed

Location 

This is a full-time, permanent position, either fully remote or based in our Indianapolis HQ. We do not offer Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance at this time.
