Salesforce Developer
Sound Agriculture Is seeking a Salesforce Developer to expand our established Revenue Operations Team. This role is critical in further scaling our revenue operations to help us meet the growth objectives of our flagship nutrient efficiency product line, SOURCE. Step into this dynamic role where you champion improvements and architectural advancements in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce OMS, and other revenue systems.
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of all programmatic requests. You will work alongside our Revenue Systems Architect to collaborate on specifications based on stakeholder requirements, validate the proposals, and deliver the solutions.
You will be working with other engineers and developers on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential.
This role reports to the Revenue System Architect and is based remotely across the United States with minimal travel expectations (<10%).Â
Compensation Target:
$115,000 to $130,000 base salary, bonus target 10%
Bonuses are earned based on annual company and individual performance and are prorated based on start date.Â

Responsibilities
- Collaborating with the Revenue Systems Architect and Revenue Ops Director to validate business requirements and any considerations (security, scalability, limits)
- Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Visualforce and Flows to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirements
- Custom User Interface development, including Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Aura Components and Lightning Web Components
- Experience with Salesforce APIs, ETL/Reverse ETL platforms, middlewares used to integrate multiple systems across the organizationÂ
- Adhere to Salesforce and development best practices, maintain code documentation, and write / maintain test classes for all custom development
- Take ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code
- Integrating and maintaining business applications to Salesforce, such as DocuSign, QuickBooks, Warehouse WMS, etc.
- Collaborating with IT/Finance/Developers for other systems in order to integrate across the business
Targeted Skills & Experience
- Experience implementing and developing in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, Java, and Python
- Expert knowledge of Salesforce flows
- Experience with Salesforce OMS and warehouse integration
- Experience with Salesforce B2B Commerce or other Community Clouds
- A proactive attitude to Salesforce enhancements and bringing existing code into best practices
- Ability to write, interpret, and critique technical specifications
- Experience with environment management, release management, code versioning, deployment methodologies, and CI/CD tools
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical clients
- Robust experience in enhancing architectures and deploying methodologies
