Join us as a Securities Lending Business Development Adviser.

The BBH Securities Lending Business Development Adviser acts as a regional Subject Matter Expert ("SME") for the securities lending product. The role will coordinate with securities lending management, client and product teams to provide product expertise in leading or supporting business development opportunities for both existing clients as well as new prospects. The individual will also support coordination and collaboration with Investor Services Relationship Excellence (RE) in support of the overall Global Securities Lending (GSL) business development campaigns and revenue goals, including working in partnership with the RE Sales Team 'Champion' for GSL.

Candidates should have a robust existing knowledge of the Asset Management industry along with significant knowledge of securities lending and financing. The candidate should be an excellent communicator, strong on coordination and collaboration both internally and externally, able to generate momentum through internal and external engagement, and possess the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.

Product Subject Matter Expertise:

• Acts as the regional Subject Matter Expert ("SME") for securities lending - primarily responsible for the delivery of product expertise to both internal and external constituencies.
• Execute upon both global and regional growth strategies by disseminating insights that are useful for internal and external clients. Integrate across groups locally and create a feedback loop to global product teams for insight generation and product development.
• Contribute to collective revenue growth and product expansion goals.
• Participate in regional RE meetings and work in partnership with RE 'ambassadors' for securities lending.
• Engage with internal teams to update and educate market landscape as well as the securities lending product evolution.
• Create excitement around the securities lending product by contributing to thought leadership and market insights.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related discipline or equivalent work experience required.
• 5+years of relevant work experience.
• Experience working in the financial services industry.
• Deep understanding of agency and principal securities lending & financing preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, deadline environment.
• Strong organization and prioritization skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of BBH products, services and practices preferred.
