Job Description

AETOS is seeking a Business Intelligence / Data Warehouse Technical team member to join an existing team providing business intelligence solutions to a government client. The ideal individual will have 5+ years of industry experience. Must be responsible for successful technical delivery of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence projects using an Agile project management methodology.

Qualifications

Responsibilties:

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and develop new enterprise business intelligence (BI) service offerings, content creation, and value propositions to support and improve Government business processes.
• Collaborate with end users to identify needs and opportunities for improved delivery of data supporting agency financial operations and mission.
• Provide ongoing development and maintenance of financial data marts and enterprise data warehouse using BI best practices, relational structures, dimensional data, structured query language skills, data warehouse and reporting techniques.
• Administer and troubleshoot BI reporting tool installations: Hyperion, OBIEE, Tableau.
• Provide end-user support and encourage user adoption. Act as Tier 1 support for end-users of BI tools. Train and support end-user analysts. Direct users to training material and available resources.
• Convert business requirements and high-level data collection needs into well-specified analyses, reporting and visualizations.
• Define and log work using JIRA.
• Participate in recurring team meetings (Agile)

Education & Qualifications Required: 

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience in gathering requirements and formulating business metrics for reporting.
• Experience developing and troubleshooting BI reports.
• Experience administering BI tools including Hyperion, OBIEE, Tableau.
• Experience working in a Microsoft SharePoint environment.
• Experience with AGILE and writing User Stories
• Must be able present diagnostic, troubleshooting steps and conclusions to varied audiences.
• Experience using Informatica PowerCenter a plus but not necessary
• Experience monitoring and maintaining enterprise BI reporting services.

Banking and lending domain experience a plus but not necessary
