The Talent Acquisition team at Fastly is fun, collaborative, strategic, and tactical. We are human-focused and bring highly skilled employees into Fastly through equitable and efficient processes. We are seeking a hardworking and strategic Senior Manager, Technical Talent Acquisition with strong people leadership and business partnering skills. In this role, you will develop and manage a team of recruiters working on sourcing, candidate placement, process improvement, and business partner satisfaction. A successful manager will cultivate a collaborative team environment, develop their recruiters and celebrate team and individual wins.
This Senior Manager, Technical Talent Acquisition will partner closely with the Engineering, Product, Business Systems, Infrastructure and Security teams to build and execute against short and long-term recruiting goals.

What You'll Do- Manage a team with empathy, helping them grow while holding them accountable to excellent results in a hyper-growth, constantly evolving, and sometimes ambiguous environment
- Manage metrics through 1:1s, performance reviews and by creating a safe, transparent and open feedback culture
- Implement and execute strategies to ensure that we are sourcing and presenting a diverse slate of candidates in all of our searches
- Support Fastly in our Inclusion & Diversity strategies
- Develop and execute to plans to identify and drive process improvements that enable the team to deliver to hiring goals without having to deploy additional resources
- Strategically partner with the relevant cross-functional business leaders and their respective teams at every stage of their workforce planning and recruiting life cycle to deliver high touch candidate experience
- Work within your teams and with senior partners to develop and sustain more diverse and inclusive recruiting strategies that are thoughtful and challenge the status quo
- Use data to influence hiring strategies and educate interview teams
- Manage Executive-level hiring of key senior level, VP and C-level searches
- 10+ Year proven experience with full cycle internal/B2B recruiting, preferably with a Technical organization
- 5+ Years as a recruiting people manager with a proven ability to excel in a leadership role and is effective at coaching, training and giving direct measurable feedback
- Thorough knowledge of internal recruiting methods as well as policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Ability to lead a diverse team with varying levels of experience through large initiatives to completion with high attention to detail with company’s strategic goals in mind
- Flexible, resourceful, independent, self-motivated; able to deal calmly and professionally with ambiguous data while leading in a fast environment of constant change
- Demonstrates sound judgment and good discretion in dealing with confidential dialogues and information and aware of audience at all times
- Excellent written and verbal communication, along with interpersonal skills to develop collaborative relationships at all levels in the organization
- Willingness to work under a hybrid model with the ability to work in our San Francisco office 2+ times per week.

Fastly currently embraces a largely hybrid model for most roles which allows employees flexibility to split their time between the office and home.
Salary:
The estimated salary range for this position is $142,630 to $190,000.
Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
This role may be eligible to participate in Fastly’s equity and discretionary bonus programs.
