Job Description:

Parsons is looking for students who can join us this summer to be part of our Software Development Internship for Summer 2023! In this role you will get to assist in building a new business database application to manage large volumes of data!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Build intuitive UIs that enhance user experience
• Database maintenance and configuration management
• Analyze and solve performance problems
• Perform usability testing and identify improvements
• Daily communication and interaction with lead developers

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Ability to meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance
• Currently enrolled in Junior, Senior or Graduate Level studies towards a degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Software Development, Information Technology or similar
• Programming course work may include HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, jQuery, Java, Ruby on Rails, and SQL database

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Previous Web Development experience
• Strong analytical and verbal communication skills, organization skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and coordinate activities across a range of functional areas.

Salary Range:

$20.63 - $36.11
