Broadridge is hiring! We currently have an opening for a Professional Software Engineer -Java/Python/AWS to join our Investor Communication Solutions division. We are seeking a proficient software engineer who is passionate about developing high quality software, and collaborating and mentoring other like-minded team members that rely on your experience and technical background to deliver solutions. Work-Mode: We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you'll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remotely.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for development and support of multiple strategic applications for Broadridge products
• Provides technical leadership to developers in a variety of duties including data design, coding, testing, technical design, development, and troubleshooting. Guides more junior associates through established processes
• Handles technical implementation, code quality and overall efficiency of the development team
• Ensures technical & security best practices along with Broadridge standards are adhered to on continuous basis.
• Identifies potential issues while staying focused on identified priorities.
• Collaborates with peers and other technical teams, such as other development teams, Architecture, Operations.
• Works within and across teams to craft, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologies.
• Translates business requirements into technical designs.
• Participates technical design sessions and works closely with multiple teams to review work (architecture, code, etc.) for multiple projects.
• Carries out code reviews.
• Contributes to technical solutions for software development projects.
• Ability to develop understanding on dependencies between software and other parts of the processing stack.
• Setup API Analytics for consumption through various channels including Splunk, Datadog and custom dashboards

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or equivalent discipline
• 7+ years of application programming and solutioning experience using Java/Spring/Spring-boot, Python and AWS technologies
• Proven experience in designing, developing, testing and integration of high complexity software solutions
• Knowledge of software design patterns/architecture like Micro-services, Layered pattern, etc
• Experience with AWS managed services including Lambda, Lambda step functions, SQS, SNS, Glue, Event Bridge, ECS/EKS Fargate, Secrets Manager
• Experience in designing and developing event driven architectures using AWS MSK or Confluent
• Experience storage services including S3, Aurora Postgres (SQL), MongoDB (NoSQL)
• Experience with API Gateway, OIDC providers including Ping and Cognito
• Working knowledge of JSON Web Tokens (JWT).
• Worked on CI/CD pipeline for code deployment leveraging Git, Jenkins, Code Pipeline, Nexus, Checkmarx, in the process from developer code check-in to Production deployment
• Experience with Chef and Terraform
• Functional skills - Application Development Life Cycle / Waterfall and Agile Development, System Design and Architecture, DevOps / Deployment automation
