Broadridge is hiring! We are looking for a Vice President of Enterprise Architecture to join our Investor Communication Solutions organization. We are seeking a business-minded, technically oriented leader who has the energy, edge, and execution capability to drive our technology transformation. This role will define the technology blueprint for the future of our business and will be a catalyst for change, someone who is able to take cutting edge technology concepts and apply them to the problems of today.

We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you'll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for defining and implementing the technology strategy across Analytics, Big Data, and Cloud platforms, will research and bring current industry trends to the table, evaluating them for both risk and fit to business requirements.
• Provide insight and technology recommendations that result in Enterprise Data solutions that solve critical business problems.
• Be the architect and point person for data platforms. Will architect reliable and scalable data platforms that are transparent, efficient and easy to access as possible by our varied applications.
• Optimize new and current database systems
• Ensure data integrity and security
• Execute Enterprise Data Governance program
• Integrate unstructured, semi-structured, and well-structured data
• Monitor and apply industry standardization initiatives

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of development experience
• Requires experience in Data Technologies that can provide the technical direction towards re-architecting Data Models and Access Platforms.
• Have extensive experience with data implementations, data storage and distribution. Have a solid track record of building large scale systems utilizing Data Technologies.
• Excellent understanding of Data Analytics platforms and ETL. Experience with administration, configuration management, monitoring, debugging, benchmarking and performance tuning of Database Engines.
• Experience with high-scale or distributed RDBMS a plus. Knowledge of cloud computing infrastructure (e.g. Amazon Web Services EC2, Elastic MapReduce) and considerations for scalable, distributed systems.
• Working knowledge of cloud data systems such as Redshift or Snowflake.
• Hands on programmer, strong in data structures and programming practices. Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, SSIS, and Talend a plus.
